For recruiters
Frequently asked questions.
If you are hiring for engineering leadership, these answers should save you time and help you decide if a conversation makes sense.
I have answered the questions that come up most often in recruiter conversations. If something is missing, the fastest next step is to email me or connect on LinkedIn.
What roles are you open to?
Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, CTO, and equivalent roles. I deliberately value positions where I stay close to engineering teams, technology, product, and execution — not layers removed from the work.
What is your current situation?
I am currently building IBANSI, an AI-native Business Operating System, while remaining selectively open to leadership roles, consulting, and advisory work that aligns with my experience and interests.
Are you open to relocation or remote work?
Yes. I am open to relocation and happy to work on-site, hybrid, or remote. I have many years of experience leading multicultural engineering teams distributed across different countries, so I am comfortable operating across time zones and cultures.
Can you share your CV?
This website and my LinkedIn profile are the public versions of my experience. For a detailed CV or specific background, please reach out directly and I will be happy to share it.
What kind of companies do you work best with?
Product-led companies that treat engineering as a strategic capability rather than a cost centre. SaaS, AI-enabled products, complex domains, and international environments are where I have added the most value.
How would you describe your leadership style?
Systems thinking, high trust with real accountability, clear expectations, and leading by example. I stay technical enough to have credible conversations with engineers while focusing my energy on the system that lets the team do its best work.
Are you open to consulting or advisory work?
Yes, for the right scope: engineering leadership, architecture and technology reviews, organizational design, hiring strategy, and technology strategy. I prefer engagements where I can have a real impact, not just attend meetings.
How do you prefer to be contacted?
Email is the most reliable way to reach me. LinkedIn works well too. I try to respond quickly to messages that are clear about the opportunity, the company, and the role.
Still have questions?
If your question is not covered here, send me a message or connect on LinkedIn. I am happy to have a brief, focused conversation to see if there is a fit.
